<p>The challenge: finding a vehicle using alternative fuels that profitably and efficiently.<br />
The contenders: the all-electric vehicle (EV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV).<br />
The problem: traditional SLE are limited, typically 100 miles or less, require extensive road and city infrastructure to support longer distance journeys.<br />
The solution: Integrate an alternative energy source to complement and extend the scope of the EV.<br />
The warning: The need for additional infrastructure for the source of the additional fuel.</p>
<p>Of course, the infrastructure for gasoline as a fuel source is already established, if this is the logical choice.
