The Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV Safety Technologies

The Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV has several new active safety technologies.
The New Multi-around Monitor system uses cameras located at strategic points on the body to allow the driver a combined image of the full extent of the vehicle. The combined image is displayed on a monitor for the driver from d ‘ a view from above for more security around the perimeter of the vehicle.
The Mitsubishi MiEV Concept PX system is equipped to support safe driving (DSSS (Level II)), which is currently funded by the Japanese National Police Agency. In this advanced vehicle safety systems infrastructure support, the onboard receiver takes the signals from optical beacons along the route, and the system asks the driver to use extreme caution when other vehicles or pedestrians by road sensors and cameras at intersections and pedestrian crossings have been discovered.
Using a system that uses wireless technology to determine the position of other vehicles and warn the driver when required by their proximity to help Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV has also supported the Advanced Safety Vehicle 4 (ASV4) The project is funded by the Office of Traffic from the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The vehicle is equipped with a Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC * 1) system, the deployment of road vehicle communication capabilities of electronic tolls (ETC) to determine vehicle position and if it is parked or not.
The PX-Concept Mitsubishi MiEV will be equipped with air suspension, electronically controlled, which gives the driver a choice of three ride height modes – Auto, High, Low – for better stability on poor surfaces or at high speeds and access facility to and from the vehicle.
The concept is also a new generation of switch direction of the wheels and a provision of monitoring equipment, excellent usability and turn the visibility for safer driving and less stressful. Some of the audio, navigation and air-conditioning switches on the steering wheel are such that the driver, they can not take a hand wheel for operation. Switch LEDs operating in the instrument panel, it is faster and easier to check visually for the driver and switch positions of control.
Gathered in the pipe system monitor has a camera facing the driver to determine monitor eye movements, their vigilance. If the system detects a loss of concentration to not only audible but visible and vibration alerts and a distinctive scent, it emits or she alerts the situation.
